Space-A Categories & Priority
Understanding your boarding priority

|
Highest priority official or emergency travel. Active duty on emergency leave or official business. |

EML (Environmental & Morale Leave)
|
Environmental & Morale Leave. Authorized for qualifying overseas assignments. |

Active Duty Ordinary Leave
|
Active duty personnel on ordinary leave (vacation time). |

Dependents traveling with sponsor on leave or EML. |

Lower category number = higher boarding priority. Categories are based on DoD Instruction 4515.13 and AMC Space-A Travel guidelines. Categories are filled in order during flight roll call. Earlier categories have better chances of getting seats.

Sign Up at Terminal
Submit AMC Form 140 at your departure terminal up to 60 days in advance.
